Engineering & Construction Project Manager

This position is located on site in Silver Peak, NV.</p><p></p><p><b><span>What You Will Do</span></b></p><ul><li>Lead the planning, execution, and completion of sustaining capital projects, ensuring alignment with safety, environmental, quality, budget, and schedule goals</li><li>Manage projects within a portfolio of $15–$20 million, overseeing scope development, contracting strategies, and construction activities</li><li>Collaborate with site operations, maintenance, and technical teams to identify project priorities and optimize scopes.</li><li>Develop and maintain project schedules and risk registers; proactively mitigate risks to minimize delays and cost overruns</li><li>Prepare and present project reports, forecasts, and funding requests to leadership and stakeholders<ul></ul></li></ul><p><b><span>What You Bring</span></b></p><p><b><span>Required:</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; or equivalent military or industry experience</li><li>Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial, mining, or heavy infrastructure environments</li><li>Knowledge and experience in capital project planning, budgeting, and execution within remote or resource-based locations</li><li>Strong understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and construction practices in mining operations</li><li>Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and cost tracking systems</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Preferred:</span></b></p><ul><li>Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or project management</li><li>PMP certification or equivalent</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Ability to thrive in remote settings with minimal oversight</li><li>Experience managing cross-functional teams and external contractors</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-CJ1</p><p></p><p><b><span>Benefits of Joining Albemarle</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Competitive compensation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comprehensive benefits package</span></p></li><li><p><span>A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>We are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
